Facilities:
Reading Room on first floor, 2 microfiche/film readers, photocopy and reproduction service.
Collections:
Printed and archival materials, relating primarily to Aberdeen and the North East, including: institutional records, records of officers, graduates and alumni of King’s and Marischal Colleges, and from 1860 the University of Aberdeen. Also records of the former Northern College of Education.
Archival collections: Family and Estate papers, records of local societies, businesses and trade Unions, selected railway and Church records, records of individuals, farming diaries, etc.
Printed collections: The Local Collection, books, journals and pamphlets covering the geographical area of the north east, including local history, University history, and on microfiche, local newspapers. Spalding Club publications, journals of local societies.
Online collections: including searchable database of George Washington Wilson photographs, and In Memoriam, records of the staff, students and alumni of the University who laid down their lives during the Great War of 1914-1918
