Grampian Information Annual Conference 2009

Grampian Information would like to announce the programme for our annual conference to be held 5 November 2009, at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, Aberdeen.  A programme the day is available, some additions are still to be made, but the schedule for the day has been set, along with the keynote speakers, Karen Cunningham of Head of Libraries and Community Facilities and Margaret Forrest of CILIPS Scotland. This can be found under the Conference 2009 directory to the right.   This year, we are keeping our fees consistent with last year and adding a half day rate.

Cost: £90 Grampian Information Members, Non-Members £110 including a buffet lunch.
Half Day Rate of £50, including lunch.

GI are also sponsoring two places at the conference.  Please apply! Circulate to all those who may be interested!

Two GI members will attend the conference with their fees paid for by Grampian Information.
Preference will begiven to applicants falling into the  following categories: first time attendees to the conference,members from single person services, and members currently seeking chartership. To apply for the sponsorship, please submit a one page personal statement about the benefits of attending this conference to you or your service and send it to info@grampianinfo.co.uk on or before 1 October 2009.  This is an excellent opportunity for professional development, and we would love to see a large pool of applicants!
